Previous to his legal career, Mr. Kelly spent ten years as a real estate broker and developer. He entered his legal vocation as an associate with Goodall & Davison, P.C., before becoming an associate with Drenner Stuart Wolff Metcalf von Kreisler, LLP. Mr. Kelly’s current practice as partner at Hajjar Sutherland & Kelly includes representing clients as purchasers, sellers, borrowers, developers, landlords, and tenants in all aspects of the real estate transaction, including entity choice, formation, and management. Mr. Kelly has also represented clients in litigation pertaining to real estate matters, and has vast experience with entitlement work in the central Texas area.

Personal
Jeffrey S. Kelly was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the first of two children. He attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and graduated in 1994 with a B.B.A in Marketing and Finance. He then attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago and graduated in 2004, with a JD cum laude and an L.LM Commercial Real Estate summa cum laude. Jeff is currently a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, Legislative Committee and Urban Land Institute, Chicago and Austin Chapters. During Jeff’s free time, he enjoys scuba diving, golf, and tennis. Jeff resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Pam, and their first son, Braden!
